The Gary Waldrep Band hails from a little community called Kilpatrick, nestled in the Northeastern corner of Alabama, near Boaz. The band performs with a traditional sound spiced with original songs and old standards, making them a favorite with acoustic music lovers across the country.

Gary and the band is proud to host three of the largest bluegrass shows in the south, Gary Waldrep is Georgia Bound Bluegrass Festival Hoofers Gospel Barn in LaGrange, Georgia, the Annual Festival on the Farm Homecoming at Gary’s homeplace in Kilpatrick, Alabama and the 5th Annual North Louisiana Spring Bluegrass Festival.

Since the band’s formation in the spring of 1998, they have traveled across the United States. In 2007 The Gary Waldrep Fan club is over 1500 members strong and growing.
